Wilmington

Welcome to Wilmington!  Here in the southeastern part of the state we have it all, from the sandy beaches to the pristine golf courses, from the tranquil Airlie Garden's to the Navy Battleship, from the downtown lifestyle to the peaceful suburbs.  There truly is something for everyone here in Wilmington and if you take a look around I am sure you will want to call this your home.  Here are just a few things for you to take a look at while you are here.

Battleship

Located right across from downtown Wilmington the USS North Carolina is a sight to see.  On the 4th of July fireworks are shot off of this ship over the river for people to watch from downtown and during Halloween you can go through the "hunted ghost shp".  This is one of the many places that makes Wilmington stand out from other places.  Drive on over and take a tour to see and learn about how this ship operated during World War II.

Airlie Grdens

These gardens are open year around and have many special events held throughout the year.  Take a peaceful walk along the path that takes you all throughout the gardens and see all of the different plants that grow here.  Since the gardens are open all year long there are many opportunities to go here and see how the garden changes all year long.

Beaches

Another great thing about Wilmington is of course the beaches.  Living here you will have access to many beaches that are in the area or you can get some shopping done and go to Wrightsville beach all within 5 miles. Walk out on the pier and dinner at many of the fine restaurants that are located in Wrightsville Beach.  Other beaches in the area are Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Oak Island, Topsail, and Snead's Ferry.
